Problem solving

Problem solving: the process of identifying a difference between the actual and the desired state of affairs and then taking action to resolve the difference. For problems important enough to justify the time and effort of careful analysis, the problem-solving process involves the following seven steps:

1. Identify and define the problem.
2. Determine the set of alternative solutions.
3. Determine the criterion or criteria that will be used to evaluate the alternatives.
4. Evaluate The alternatives.
5. Choose an alternative.
6. Implement the selected alternative.
7. Evaluate the results to determine whether a satisfactory solution has been obtained.

Advantages of start-ups new business

1. A start-up begins with "clean slate".
2. A start-up provides the owner with the opportunity to use the most up-to date technology.
3. A start-up can provide new, unique products or services that are not available from existing business.
4. A start-up can be kept small deliberately to limit the magnitude of possible losses.

Disadvantages of Start-Ups new business

1. A start-up business has no initial name recognition.
2. A start-up business will require significant time to provide positive cash flow.
3. A start-up business can be very difficult to finance. " such as banks, it's not easy to take loans".
4. A start-up usually can't easily gain revolving credit from suppliers and financial institutions.
5. A start-up business may not have experiences managers and workers.
